International Baccalaureate Career-related Programme Candidate - Class of 2019
BIOGRAPHY
My name is Malcolm Schultz. I am a 16-year-old 11th grader at Ronald Reagan High School. Since the beginning of my Junior year, I have been a part of the IBCP program, which I am confident will help me reach my goal of one day being a programmer. Since I was in elementary school, I have been interested in computers. After years of attempting to teach myself basic programming skills with online resources, I was given the opportunity to take multiple programming and computer science classes at Reagan. My hope is that these classes, as well as my experience in the IBCP program, will help me attend a prestigious college and make my dream a reality. In IB, the two IB Learner Profile traits that I feel connect to the most are Inquirer and Reflective. I feel I am an inquirer because I am always wanting to learn more and seeking out more information about the things I am passionate about. I feel I am reflective because I have always been skilled at looking back on my past experiences and learning from them.
